Welcome to the Meetup for the Cedar Falls/Waterloo Secularists - a social group for those with a religion-free worldview in the Cedar Valley area.
The intent of this Meetup is to form a community of atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and other non-religious persons. If you are searching for just such a community or are interested in learning more about the views of our members, join us at any of our Meetup events. We meet for coffee on the second Sunday and drinks after work on the fourth Friday of every month. We also plan other special events throughout the month, so keep an eye out for those! This meet-up was established with the help of the Iowa Secularists, a statewide nonprofit organization that has since closed, but was committed to creating local communities of religion-free Iowans, educating the public on living without religion, engaging in positive secular activities that contribute to our communities, and supporting the Separation of Church and State as established in the first amendment.

This group is for all people interested in supporting Ron Paul and the principles of limited government. Our focus will be on increasing community awareness of Ron Paul as we approach the election season and to have fun in the process.
Hello ladies! The point of this group is to bring together women of all ages for fellowship and friendship, while enhancing our lives with the love and words of Jesus. All women are welcome regardless of age or denomination. No previous Bible knowledge is required, but if you desire to learn and grow spiritually, we encourage you to come out and join us! We will be reading Christian related studies with an emphasis on scripture. It is a goal to eventually meet once a week, to "eat, greet & study" at various locations in the Cedar Falls and Waterloo areas. We will typically read a few chapters of the book and then review them at our sessions. Once a month, we'll schedule "mini-activities" designed to keep us encouraged and inspired throughout the month.
